The valve positioning are microprocessor based, which provides fast and accurate positioning of diaphragm or cylinder actuators. It produces a pressure output, as required to control valve, according to 4-20mA input supplied by a controller. It enables an easy interface between the field and the control room resulting in reduced installation, operation and maintenance costs.
The HART + 4-20mA valve positioners training course presents the product installation, operation, configuration and maintenance aspects, also focusing the benefits to reduce final control element installation, operation and maintenance costs.
The participant will be able to
- Use the Magnetic Screwdriver SD1, PALM and DEVCODROID software configuration tools
- Configure all functions available on the device´s programming tree
- Understand how linear and rotary actuators work
- Understand how to measure valve position without mechanical contact
- Apply the device maintenance procedures using PALM, DEVCODROID software and FYCAL calibration device
