Agroindustry Viterra Bioenergia SA. Participates in practical training on Profibus Line

On February 09, 10 and 11, Nova Smar provided training in PROFIBUS DP and PA technology in the Agroindústria Viterra Bioenergia SA, located in Junqueirópolis - SP.

Viterra grows sugar cane, and through its processing produces sugar, ethanol and electric energy.

The training, totally hands-on, was attended by Instrumentation and Automation technicians from Viterra, which has a large installed park of PROFIBUS DP/PA controllers and field devices from Nova Smar.

The training covered aspects of the PROFIBUS DP and PA networks and details of operation and applications of Nova Smar devices for level, pressure, flow, temperature and valve positioner measurement.

The new trends in field networks were also presented, such as the application of the Ethernet APL network.

Viterra shows its concern with the technical updating of its employees in what is most modern in field network technology.

The training was conducted by PROFIBUS Certified Engineer Marcelo Sant'Ana da Silva.
