ARC India, which was held in Bangalore on July 10 and 11, once again had a robust turnout driven by the rapid adoption of new technologies such as AI, digital twins, edge computing, cybersecurity and the OPAS (Open Process Automation Standard).
In addition to discussions on new technologies and standards in the world of automation, ARC also focuses on business and solutions that companies in the area can adopt to ensure excellence in their processes.
The event was attended by suppliers and end users from all over the world, and Nova Smar was a significant participant alongside its representative in India, Baldota, with a stand promoting the NOVA Line product range, which complies with version 2.1 of the OPA standard, covering various standards in a defined common interface.
Nova Smar was represented by Luciano Botto, Product Manager, Victor Halfeld, Electronic Intelligence Analyst and Libanio Carlos de Souza, CEO. The company announced its unprecedented partnership with WEG during the RoadShow, focusing on new technologies and edge computing. Nova Smar leading role sparked WEG's interest in being part of the OPAF definitions.
The RoadShow organized at this event was a great success, bringing together many interested parties and especially end users to create the first OPAS strategy at Nova Smar's own stand.
