PATS - Smar Technology Update Program - returns in 2019 to continue its objective of traveling through the different regions of the country, disseminating to the community of professionals, researchers and academics in the Industrial Control and Automation sector, emerging technologies that are already incorporated into Smar brand products, in which application practices and the benefits they bring to industrial processes will be presented.
This year's theme is Industry 4.0, which brings together the concepts of digital protocols in the evolution of the Internet of Things (IIoT) aimed at industrial automation, in the incorporation of Wireless devices in field devices, in Automation Technology merged with Information Technology migrating the resources of automation systems to the Cloud (Cloud).
Smar is the only Automation company in Latin America to participate in the FieldComm Group work and will present the latest state-of-the-art innovations in FDI – Field Device Integration technology, which provides the integration of the main digital protocols on the market in a single environment, and which were defined at the work meeting held in Barcelona in July.
We will share information about the OPA Forum (Open Process Automation™ Forum), which is focused on developing an interoperable, open, secure, and standards-based process control architecture. The forum is a consensus group of end users, system integrators, vendors, academic institutions and standards organizations. It addresses technical and business issues for process automation, bringing together around 146 companies.
