It is a mechanical device that facilitates the routing of PROFIBUS PA, PROFIBUS DP, FOUNDATION Fieldbus™, AS-i, DeviceNet, Modbus, Conventional cables, etc, to guarantee the correct cable curvature, respecting the minimum curvature. Violation of the minimum curvature generates splices (impedance change) and the CRG300 avoids changing the cable cross-section, which causes signal reflections. This device is designed for panel and field mounting.
See in the figure that when there is a violation of the minimum curvature radius, an impedance change point is generated (called splice) and with this, the signal degrades, generating intermittence in the digital signals. With the CRG300, the minimum curvature is maintained and the cable is prevented from deforming.
